Coronation Street fans have a new theory about child groomer Nathan Curtis that makes his hold over Bethany Platt even creepier
Like all Coronation Street fans, we were left reeling a couple of weeks ago when mysterious newcomer, Shona, revealed to Gail Platt that she is actual Clayton Hibbs' mother. As we know, Clayton is currently in a young offenders' institute for stabbing Kylie Platt to death last year. We were also shocked to discover that Shona was only 13 when she gave birth to Clayton.
But, Shona also has a connection to child groomer/sex ring pervert, Nathan Curtis - who's currently manipulating a vulnerable Bethany Platt.
Shona showed Gail scars that were apparently left by an abusive ex-boyfriend called 'Nathan'. Now, we know that Nathan can be physically abusive as we saw him jam Mel's fingers in a till recently.
We also know that Shona showed some concern when she found out that Nathan was older than Bethany. There are no coincidences in soap, folks.
Fans have been speculating on Twitter that evil Nathan is Clayton's dad following him grooming Shona some years ago.
