EastEnders are no strangers to tackling important social issues. From Lee Carter's mental health storyline to Little Mo's domestic abuse at the hands of husband Trevor - the soap has always knocked it out the park at raising awareness about important issues that people face every single day.
And an upcoming storyline is no different, with EastEnders tackling the important subject of revenge porn and underage sexting, two things that are making the headlines day in and day out.
Viewers will already know that young couple Shakil Kazemi and Bex Fowler, both 16, are going through the motions at the minute, with Bex adament that she's not ready to go 'all the way' with her boyfriend.
Go girl. No-one should be made to do something they don't want to do.
However, Shakil is growing frustrated and with the pressures of rumours going around at school, he suggests that maybe they should send each other provocative pictures and messages instead.
Sending his girlfriend a text, which read: "Was thinking we can do other stuff not just sex?" - Bex looked uncomfortable as she came to terms with what he actually means.
It's understandable that she's worried, given the amount of photos that end up online.
As Bex confides in best pal Louise Mitchell - will she go through with it without thinking about the consequences? Or will she stand her ground? And if she does, will Shakil be able to take the rejection?
This storyline comes at the same time as the BBC has proposed a ban on sexting (sending explicit messages) for under 16's.
Jeremy claims that social media firms need to do more to combat the culture of online social sharing and sexual imagery, which he belives is having a negative impact on the mental health of young people.
"For example, I just ask myself the simple question as to why it is that you can't prevent the texting of sexually explicit images by people under the age of 18, if that's a lock that parents choose to put on a mobile phone contract. Because there is technology that can identify sexually explicit pictures and prevent it being transmitted," he said today.
"I ask myself why we can't identify cyberbullying when it happens on social media platforms by word pattern recognition, and then prevent it happening. I think there are a lot of things where social media companies could put options in their software that could reduce the risks associated with social media, and I do think that is something which they should actively pursue in a way that hasn't happened to date."
