WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Abi Branning (aka #BadAbi) has definitely proven she has a dark side over recent weeks.

And things are set to get even more twisted as she forges a relationship with convicted murderer Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) - despite the fact he is gay.

Viewers have already seen Ben confuse Johnny Carter (Sam Strike) over his sexuality, and it seems as if Phil's son is keen to keep up the act that he is straight as he grows closer to best friend Abi.

Ben will be seen trying to kiss Mick Carter (Danny Dyer)'s son when they are alone together, but quickly turns on him when he sees Abi approaching.

His cruel remarks towards Johnny, however, will cause former soldier Lee (Danny-Boy Hatchard) to jump in and defend his brother, as he lashes out and hits Ben.

FUN: YOU KNOW YOU'RE ADDICTED TO EASTENDERS WHEN...

Desperate to prove that he can be attracted to women, Ben will use Abi's vulnerable state to his advantage when he later kisses her - causing the troubled teen to believe he is in love with her.

But, with Ben clearly still attracted to Johnny, it seems Abi could be heading for heartbreak once again.
