Former EastEnders star Katie Jarvis has appeared in court this week after she was accused of five different assaults.
The soap star, who is known as Hayley Slater, allegedly "shouted 'black lives don't matter'" and "I'm a celebrity", during a physical altercation outside a seaside bar in Southend last year.
Katie is accused of assault, racially aggravated harassment, using threatening words or behaviour, assault by beating a woman and assault by beating an 11-year-old girl.
The 29-year-old actress appeared at Southend Magistrates' Court yesterday [15th] and her representative said she would plead not guilty and insisted she was the victim, acting in self-defence.
Katie is due to appear in court again on May 13, with District Judge Timonthy King saying, "I allocate your case to Basildon Crown Court.
"Your next hearing will be four weeks from today at Basildon Crown Court for a plea hearing and preparation hearing on May 13."

Katie joined EastEnders back in 2018 as resident Hayley Slater.
During her time on the Square she tried to cause drama with Stacey Slater and Martin Fowler and she struggled with alcohol addiction.
However no one was prepared for Hayley's huge secret - she was pregnant with Alfie Moon's baby.
The news came out on Christmas Day with Kat Moon furious and following an altercation, Hayley ends up pushing Alfie down the stairs.
While the Slaters believe he's dead, he managed to sneak off and kidnap baby Cherry however he later returned the little one.
Hayley was later admitted to a psychiatric hospital but fled before giving Kat a note to say sorry.
