For months Ruby Allen and Stacey Fowler have been at odds but they're not the only ones because EastEnders fans have branded the storyline as "unrealistic".

During a recent episode, Jean Slater begged Ruby Allen to drop the charges against Stacey after the bar owner accused her former BFF of pushing her down the stairs.

Viewers know that Ruby (who at first lied about being pregnant) suffered a miscarriage but following her altercation with Stacey, she blamed the incident for the loss of her baby.

Now fans have shared their outrage about how the story has developed with one person writing on Instagram, "She went to the hospital when she miscarried, it will be in her medical records, in order to build a case would the cps not have requested these from the hospital?".

Someone else fumed, "I thought Ruby was told in hospital she lost the baby before that happened with Stacey! So why is she going to court etc?? Surely in criminal cases there needs to be some sort of evidence about the facts, bugs me how these storylines go 🙄".

Meanwhile the Mitchells struggle with where to seat Phil at the wedding and when Callum asks his soon to be father-in-law if he wants a plus one, Phil is left feeling awkward that Kat Moon has overheard the conversation.

A third commented, "Storyline is so unrealistic".

"Eastenders. Your storylines are all over the place," added a fourth.

And one more said, "I'd like to know what tests Ruby had after her miscarriage given it was her 1st one and at such an early stage. You don't usually have tests unless you've suffered several miscarriages. Yet again a totally misleading storyline".

This isn't the first time fans have spotted a 'blunder' with this storyline.

After Ruby told the police that one of the cameras (that show's her falling and not being pushed down the stairs) was a dummy, fans were quick to voice their opinions.

One fan wrote, "Even that bit of edited footage doesn't show Stacey pushing her. And if the police do their job properly they'll check with the hospital that the fall caused the miscarriage then the truth will come out."

Another said, "Oh come on, the police can check if the other one is turned on surely".
