Since Good Friday 2014, EastEnders fans have been glued to one of soapland’s biggest ever mysteries - who killed Lucy Beale?

But, with such a long list of potential suspects, it's been difficult for us to crack who did the deed.

Was it a family affair - after all, father Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), brother Peter (Ben Hardy), stepsister Cindy (Mimi Keene) and stepmother Jane (Laurie Brett) all had the means and motive.

Then again, the Branning family are also in the frame; Lucy was having an affair with love rat Max (Jake Wood), owned a business with BFF Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), and definitely rubbed up young Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) in the wrong way.

And let's not forget traumatised soldier Lee Carter (Danny-Boy Hatchard), love rival Whitney Dean (Shona McCarty), murderous uncle Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid), and Jay Brown (Jami Borthwick), who was seen on CCTV following poor Lucy off the bus.

Well, now you can use your detective skills in an online competition to win a tour of Albert Square.

Winners of an ‘EastEnders golden ticket’ will find themselves in one of the most famous pubs in Britain and exploring Walford’s other legendary landmarks as they are guided through E20 by a star of the award-winning soap.

Dominic Treadwell-Collins said “We really want to reward our viewers" loyalty as we celebrate our anniversary – and what better way to celebrate 30 years than to give 30 fans the chance to spend the day behind-the-scenes?

"But fans will have to play detective in order to earn their prize – correctly work out who killed Lucy Beale and you could soon be walking onto Albert Square.”

Further details and entry to the competition will be released in January 2015.
