EastEnders fans went crazy for Grant Mitchell's return, especially as he brought his daughter Courtney (who we haven't seen for years) with him!
What a treat.
The daughter of Grant and Tiffany Mitchell, who's now played by Alice Nokes, arrived in attempting to get to the bottom of her father's unusual behaviour.
The youngest Mitchell, who we last saw in 2006, is now at university in London. She's keen to encourage her dad to open up about some family truths but it soon becomes clear they are both keeping things from each other, especially as she finds her dad on his own, waiting outside a police station...
Fans of the soap were definitely not expecting to see his daughter Courtney and they made their feeling known on Twitter - especially as her character had been replaced (she was played Megan Jossa, Jacqueline Jossa's cousin).
One wrote: "Courtney Mitchell does look slightly like a young Tiffany and I feel 189 years old. I remember her being born."
Speaking to the Sun, Alice explained how excited and privileged she is to be starring in EastEnders.
She said: "To be a part of such an experienced cast and in one of the most renowned families in British soaps… it was a dream come true!
"I told close family and very close friends. I kept it very low-key though! I’m relieved it’s out there now and can't wait to see how the audience responds."
We're so exicited to see more! Oh EastEnders, you're so good to us...
