Due to the outbreak of coronavirusEastEnders bosses were forced to stop the soap filming and while they prepare to get back to normal; BBC have decided to following in the footsteps of Hollyoaks and air old episodes.
Next week will be the first episode of EastEnders: Secrets From The Square in which Stacey Dooley will be joined by Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright as they relieve some of Mick Carter and Linda Carter’s classic scenes.
EastEnders: Secrets from the Square will also give viewers a unique sneak-peak behind the scenes and exclusive teases of what drama awaits the residents of Albert Square when the show returns.
And on Tuesday viewers will get the chance to watch an iconic episode featuring Dirty Den and Angie Watts which first aired on 16 October 1986 – throwback.

Before any of the above here’s what’s happening in EastEnders this week…
The Carters have been preparing to sell The Vic to Phil Mitchell for weeks but Linda Carter is about to have a change of heart.
It all begins when Linda discovers how Phil has been treating her friend Sharon Mitchell and she tells hubby Mick Carter she’s not keen on handing the keys over to him.
Despite Mick being reluctant about changing their decision, Linda gives Phil a piece of her mind and makes it clear she doesn’t want him owning the pub.
Later, Mick asks Sharon to speak to Linda and before long Shaz takes matters into her own hands…
Meanwhile, tension continues to rise between Billy Mitchell and Mitch Baker as they fight over Karen Taylor, the police arrive at Ruby’s club and Chantelle Atkins tries to clear the air with Gray Atkins.
