But after failing to recognise anyone in a police custody line-up, Ben admitted defeat.

Well, until he spotted a man chatting to someone outside the police station and realised that he was part of the gang that attacked Paul.

Clever Johnny quickly took a picture of the car's numberplate – but will Ben take the opportunity to seek revenge?

It definitely looks that way, as Ben Mitchell goes missing soon after – leaving his family in bits and worried about his whereabouts...

Viewers will already know that Ben doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to the police, seeking revenge and being able to control his anger.

Look at poor Hev….

So will Ben intend to kill the man he saw outside the police station to seek revenge? Or is he hiding something?

Harry Reid, who plays Ben, is definitely missing his on-screen boyfriend. Posting a sweet snap to Instagram, he called out Jonny Labey, who plays Paul, and described him as a ‘true friend’.

He wrote: “True professional and a great friend. Still missing you bro but now the whole nation are. Good luck in the future because it looks promising! @jonnylabey #breakinghearts #eastenders."

Awwwwwwww.

We definitely miss their onscreen chemistry.

They were the definitely of loves young dream.
