If you were too busy trying to fish out all the Malteasers from your Celebration box, Christmas Eastenders 2017 was a delicious mix of Stacey and Max's affair, Tanya Branning returning and Lauren and Abi Branning falling off The Queen Vic roof.
Very stressful times indeed, if you are an Albert Square resident. (Or the satsuma-haired Max, who was the reason his daughters were on the roof in the first place!)

In last night's episode, both Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) and Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) initially survived the fall, though a dramatic cliffhanger suggested that one of the girls hasn't survived.
EastEnders spoilers have revealed that there will be a funeral for one residents and the cast were spotted filming the emotional scenes, but will it be Abi or Lauren? According to some theories, it could even be Ben Mitchell, who may have been hit by Phil's stray bullet.
Deaths aside, Enders viewers have also been wondering about whereabouts of one character in particular.
Where is little Louie?!
Tanya Branning was strapping Lauren's son into the car, before the family noticed Max Branning on top of the roof.
Then with all the chaos involving ambulances desperately trying to save the Branning girl's lives, Tanya in the hospital and Max in police cell - begs the question. Where is little Louie?
Is he still in the car?! 😱

The Who Killed Lucy Beale whodunnit was one of EastEnders' most epic storylines and, of course, the Branning sisters - along with their dodgy dad Max - were caught up in the tangled web of lies and suspicion. After being put on trial, Max threw his own daughter under the bus and claimed Abi was guilty. Meanwhile Lauren, who knew that Bobby was the real killer, kept schtum until the very last minute, by which time the police didn't believe her and her dad was wrongfully sentenced to 20-years behind bars. Oops!

Really, it was only a matter of time before the Branning sisters became embroiled in a love triangle, and that finally happened when Abi made play for Lauren's psycho partner, Steven Beale. Despite the fact that controlling Steven stalked Lauren and even lied about having a brain tumour, Abi fell for him hard and made a BIG play for her sister's O/H. Lucky for Steven, he was dead by the time Lauren found out the truth!
