It was a very big night for EastEnders viewers last night, as we finally learned who killed Lucy Beale on Good Friday 2014.

But it wasn't just us who'd been trying to figure out whodunnit; the entire cast were also kept in the dark about the killer's identity until last night's episode.

No wonder they went wild on Twitter!

Danny Dyer, who plays Mick Carter, wrote: "So......... Damien lives.... 666.

"The shifty little mug… roll on tomorrow."

Which, as you may have guessed, had us all in hysterics.

But he wasn't the only EastEnders star to take to Twitter after the live reveal; Ben Hardy, who plays Lucy's brother Peter, also popped up to praise his murderous on-screen sibling.

He wrote simply: "So the secret is finally out....phew...weight off... Elliot who plays Bobby was superb.

"Going live at 12 years old and smashed it #topnotch"

And the entire EastEnders cast shared a video of themselves as they FINALLY learned who bumped off Lucy:

Jake Wood, who plays Max Branning, also took to social media to thank fans for their great feedback for the live episode.

He wrote: "Thanks again for the love people.

"Amazing week of eps. Only way we'll ever top this is by doing one live from the moon #EELive more tomorrow."

And Adam Woodyatt - aka Ian Beale - decided to dismiss the fact his 11-year-old son had bumped off his daughter and instead focus on the happy things in life.

But, while we thought last night's episode was a big one, Dominic Treadwell-Collins, aka the big boss at Enders, let slip that tonight's will be even more jaw-dropping.

He wrote: "And there you have it. But the COMPLETELY LIVE fallout tomorrow is going to have you reaching for the tissues... #EELive"

Wowzer - we wonder what will happen next?!
