Coronation Street spoilers: Simon Barlow puts dad Peter in danger

After the messy demise of their relationship, Fiz is determined to keep Tyrone away from Hope and Ruby but Chesney convinces her it won't solve anything. Fiz makes up with Maria and confides in her that her biggest fear is the girls choosing Alina over her.

Tyrone takes Ruby and Hope for a dinner with Alina and explains that while he doesn't want to be with Fiz any more, he'll always love them. Tyron is relieved that they both seem to love Alina - but when Fiz runs into them leaving Speed Dahl after tea, she struggles not to cry.

Elsewhere, Sharon has been making herself at home and when she learns that Peter is Leanne's ex, she's keen to invite him out for a coffee. When Peter declines, saying he's too tired, Sharon turns her attentions to Sam and tells him that if he ever needs someone to talk to about his daddy, he can talk to her.

Increasingly worried about Asha's relationship with Corey, Dev calls a meeting with his dad, Stefan. But it's clear Stefan couldn't give a toss about what Corey does and Dev quickly becomes enraged, telling Stefan that if Asha ends up pregnant or fails her exams, it will be down to his negligent parenting.

Dev calls round looking for Leanne and Nick and is left aghast when Corey opens the door, saying his dad has taken over the lease and now he and Asha live there. Asha is mortified that Dev went behind her back to speak to Corey's dad and Corey makes it clear that Dev isn't welcome at their flat.

After their fall-out, Seb is determined to win Nina back round and with George's help turns up to the café in full goth attire and funeral floral arrangement for her birthday. But it falls flat when Nina thinks he's taking the mickey out of her again.

Carla plans to cheer up Peter and arrives at No.1 wearing a big coat over sexy lingerie. The surprise works a treat but their soon interrupted by Steve who finds them having sex in the living room. After they're dressed Peter receives a call from the transplant centre, telling him they've found a match.

Peter prepares to head into hospital for the transplant and hearing the news, Sharon confides in her new pal Sam that Simon's dad has gone into hospital for a big operation and that he should let him know. Over at their hideout, Simon overhears Nick telling Leanne about his call from Simon.

Kevin's wedding to Abi is coming up and at the garage Tim and Tyrone are busy bickering over where the best place to have his stag do would be. But when Tyrone mentions he'll be bringing Alina along to the ceremony, Kevin is suddenly unsure.

When Abi arrives back at the garage later, Kevin fills her in on what Tyrone said about Alina and they both agree that it would break Fiz's heart to see them together at the wedding. Having realised that Alina's not welcome at the wedding, Tyrone takes umbrage and tells Kevin and Abi they can stuff their wedding and he's resigning from Best Man.

After eavesdropping on Nick and Leanne's conversation, Simon makes his escape from the hideaway and Leanne is horrified to find him missing. At the hospital, Simon arrives in incognito clothing, shocking Peter and Carla, and announces he's not going back to the hideout.

After being able to see his dad, Simon is convinced by Carla to go back to his mum, who is terrified that Harvey's gang has got him. But when Simon leaves, Peter catches one of the cleaners putting in a call to report him.
