Corrie fans are convinced that newcomer Scott could be Carla Connor’s actual biological father after a series of clues seemingly pointed to his real identity.
Viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the matter, with one user pointing out he’d “taken a liking to Carla”.
Scott arrived on the street a couple of months ago as they new long-term lodger at The Rover’s Return and so far his business in Weatherfield is unconfirmed. And while he seems an amiable bloke his arrival spooked pub landlord Johnny Connor, who took an impromptu trip to France with his wife Jenny as soon as Scott showed up.
Fans are now connecting the dots and think that Johnny could have been so keen to get away because Scott, who told Carla that he was surprised Johnny hadn’t mentioned him before, could be Carla’s real dad.

“I saw that sneaky side eye from Scott, I can guarantee ya he knows Chelsey somehow #Corrie,” said one, and another wrote, “I might be overthinking it but… was that not weird that Scott showed up in that shot? #Corrie”.
Speaking about his character’s arrival on the street, actor Tom Roberts said, “He is a very charismatic guy, he’s got a bit of a swagger and he is very confident.
“It becomes obvious pretty much straight away, as soon as Johnny clocks him, that there is a past there. It takes quite a lot to frighten Johnny, he’s no pushover and he is quite a strong guy. So viewers will know from the outset that this outwardly charming, funny man with his witty lines and his confidence is not all that he seems.”
