As a panicked Ches gatecrashes Sinead’s hen night all hell breaks loose
The war for Sinead’s affections ramps up a notch in the New Year as Daniel gets his own back on Ches in spectacular style.
In the run up to Yule, we see a desperate Ches frame love rival Daniel by bashing his own head with a brick before claiming it was Dangerous Dan who attacked him!
Sinead is devastated to think that her ex could be so violent but as New Years Eve approaches Daniel is rubbing his hands with glee when he discover that the Rovers CCTV cameras are pointed directly into the ginnel where the “attack” took place.
When Daniel learns that Beth is planning to show a special DVD at her niece Sinead’s hen night, containing clips from her past, he starts to formulate a cunning plan.
With the bash underway in The Bistro, and with the excitable hens all dressed as flapper girls, Daniel corners Chesney at his stag do in the Rovers and tells him he’s swapped Beth’s DVD for the incriminating CCTV footage. YIKES!
“Daniel tells Ches, ‘I’ve got footage of you hitting yourself with a brick”, says Rob Mallard who plays Ken’s son Daniel. “Sinead thinks she’s about to watch a DVD of her and Chesney’s best bits but Daniel has all the power.”
A terrified Ches legs it over to the Bistro, (dressed as a toy solider for his stag…bless), but just as Beth is about to press play he shoves her to the ground!
Poor Beth is left writhing around in agony, while a gobsmacked Sinead looks on in pure horror!
As a smug Daniel watches in the wings, is Chesney’s cruel scam to set up Sinead’s ex, about to be exposed.
And if so, is it fair to say, the wedding is most definitely off!?
Watch the drama on New Year's Day, 7.30pm, ITV1
