We don't know about you, but we had rather conflicting feelings of shock about Coronation Street's revelation that Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoygne) was secretly getting it on with Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).

On the one hand, we were utterly shocked. How could he do that? It's her sister! (And yes we are aware that soaps aren't real, ok.)
On the other hand, is there ANYTHING that Peter Barlow could do to really, seriously shock us anymore?
Anyway.
Along that train of thought, we are shocked but also not shocked to find that Peter Barlow is potentially going to cheat on poor old Toyah, who returned to the soap on Christmas Day last year after a massive 13 years away from the soap.
Peter is going to have a bust up with Toyah after he finds out that she's desperate to have a child and was undertaking IVF with her ex-husband in an attempt to get pregnant - even though he has told her he doesn't want any more children.
After he storms off, he's invited out for a drink by a customer - the glamorous Chloe (Jo-anne Knowles) - who invites him into her hotel.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that he doesn't fall off the wagon and be tempted by both Chloe and alcohol.
Although what fun would that be?
Whilst this is happening, the witless Tim Metcalfe spills the beans on Peter's whereabouts to Toyah, who has been looking for him. She is furious that he would immediately run off into the arms of another woman at the first sign of a spat - even if he hasn't actually done anything. But has he?!
In our opinion, the more burning question is: when and how is Leanne going to find out about her sister's secret affair with her ex-husband? Especially as Simon now knows after catching them kissing on his drone?
