Convinced that her romance with Rana is doomed, a sad Kate packs her bags
Conflicted Kate makes a difficult decision next week and decides it’s time to move on…
She’s fallen for Rana in a huge way and over the past few weeks we’ve seen the secret lovers grow closer.
However the longer time goes on, the more convinced Kate is that Rana will never leave her hubby Zedan for her. We think she’s got a good point.
Tired of all the creeping around and having to keep their relationship under wraps, Kate grows increasingly frustrated and ends up letting off steam by going on a bender with Sophie!
The two girls get sozzled and later on and worse for wear, they return to the cobbles and share a drunken snog on the street but are interrupted when Kate’s flatmate Alya suddenly emerges in her dressing gown. Caught out!
Not surprisingly it’s not long before the goss is swirling round the street and it’s Rosie who unwittingly upsets Rana by revealing Sophie and Kate were spotted locking lips.
Rana is absolutely gutted but can’t risk showing her real emotions for fear of her affair being discovered.
However later on she’s even more heart-broken when Kate announces she’s decided she’s moving away from Manchester and is headed to Carla’s place in Devon to clear her head.
And she’s certainly not hanging about! Before you know it Aidan’s little sis has packed her bags and is ordering a cab to take her to the station.
Rana pleads with her to stay but is interrupted when Sophie rolls up and is also gutted to see that Kate’s leaving. It’s a proper little Kate Fan Club isn’t it!
A dejected Rana and Sophie wave their sad goodbyes as Kate disappears off into the distance but later in the week Rana is taken aback when Sophie opens up to her and tells her just how strong her feelings are for Kate.
Uh oh…it seems like Rana has got a love rival!
We don’t think this is the last we’ll be seeing of Kate so what is Rana going to do. Will she sit back and let Sophie muscle in on her lover, will she stand by her man Zeedan, or will she become even more convinced that it’s Kate she wants to be with? After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Whatever she decides we think she should get on with it as it’s pretty darn obvious Kate isn’t the type to be kept dangling about in the background. It’s decision time.
