Will Shona Ramsey be forced to tell David Platt the truth in Coronation Street?
Ever since we found out that Shona Ramsey is mum to evil Clayton Hibbs who killed Kylie Platt last year, we've been waiting for the secret to explode. It looks like things might come to a head next week when David discovers that Shona has a child she's neglected to mention. It's touch and go for Shona at the beginning of the week as she is operated on for a ruptured spleen. David discovers the op was tricky because of Shona's c-section scar. This is news to him.
Billy fills David in, telling him Shona had a son but she lost him. Later in the week, Gail visits Shona in hospital and warns her David knows she has a son.
When David arrives at the hospital, Shona has some talking to do. She tells him about 'Jimmy' her son that went off the rails. Gail is stunned when she sees David gently kiss Shona.
Gail tells David he's getting too close to Shona and it's too soon for him to be moving on. Meanwhile, Shona confesses to Eileen that she has feelings for David.
But the budding romance looks set to grind to a halt when David takes Lily and Max to visit Kylie's grave. He's shocked when he spots Shona there.
How will she explain this one?
