Coronation Street spoilers: Maria catches David with EMMA

Poor Billy is having an absolute shocker at the moment, as his latest drama sees him and Summer being evicted from their flat at the hands of Tracy Barlow. She tells him he owes her three months' rent, and that she doesn't want a junkie living in her flat. The vicar is totally humiliated as the pair pack their things, and desperately attempts to get money from Adam, who send him packing.

Adam and Shona join forces to try and help Billy and Summer. Shona suggests that Adam tries to change Tracy's mind, and she offers to move in with Summer and Billy to act as guarantor. Billy confides in Shona about his problems with the teenage girl, and comes to the conclusion that he needs to work on his relationship with her.

Liz is absolutely thrown and not a little bit annoyed when Moira accuses her of fancying Johnny when he comes into the medical centre. Keen to throw off the accusations, she enjoys a night out with Mike - but can't stop herself from eyeing up Johnny across the room. Later, she throws herself into her dates with Mike so that Moira stops her gossiping - but what are her real feelings for Johnny?

Alya is growing increasingly tired of having to live with Kate, who suggests she move out and let Rana move in. An infuriated Alya then heads off to work where Summer has spotted a miscalculation in her figures that could have cost Aidan thousands of pounds. She's humiliated, but when Summer apologises for showing her up, they join forces and pitch a fantastic idea to Carla and Aidan, who are VERY impressed...

After Rana's dad cancels the cheque to invest in Speed Daal, Zeedan needs her help more than ever and so Rana sidelines Kate to help her husband. Thankfully, Imran comes to the rescue - but a hug between the two doesn't go unnoticed by a jealous Kate, who makes a very bad decision and calls the police on her parents... Meanwhile, Zeedan tells Kayla he thinks Rana still has feelings for him. Oh dear.

His traumatic ordeal has caused David to start going off the rails. After nearly killing Gary Windass last week, Gary tries to help David by pointing out what he is recognising as PTSD from his military days. Gary thinks he's heading for a breakdown as a delayed reaction to Kylie's death, and while David seems to take on board what he's saying, he's really just going along with it to appease Gary. Shona tells Maria that everything seemed fine until David fell out with Josh, so Maria goes round to talk to David.

Unfortunately for her, she catches David in a state of undress... With Emma, the intern he'd previously shown a LOT of disdain for! After telling Emma to close the salon early, David invites her round to his for a beer and one thing leads to another! Shockingly, David begins to refer to Emma as his girlfriend and gives her a set of house keys as he asks her to move in.

Gail and Bethany are dumbfounded by how quickly David has moved on, and Bethany in particular is shocked to learn that Emma was only in one year above her at school. Unfortunately, Shona finds out about David's actions and is devastated. The female Platts take it upon themselves to have an intervention with David over his recent behaviour.
