A fired up Aidan is furious when he hears about his dad Johnny’s latest plans
Poor little Aidan is pretty much at rock bottom these days. Homeless. No job. No fiancée ….at least he’s got his new squeeze, knicker-designer Alya, fighting his corner but she seems to be the only one on his side right now.
Still Aidan is determined to claw back his empire and is confident that with some hard graft he can rebuild his crumbled business. Oh dear. We have bad news for him!
Next week, the former factory boss gets another hefty kick in the teeth when he learns that his dad Johnny is intending to use the factory insurance money to start a new life abroad. Adios Aidan!
Not surprisingly the news tips an already volatile Aidan straight over the edge and he’s soon hurling accusations at Johnny’s new wife, Jenny.
“He’s always thought Jenny was a gold-digger”, says Shayne Ward who plays him. “He hears the news that the money has come through from someone else and when he confronts Johnny, all excited, he finds out that his dad and Jenny intend to move to Spain!”
Discovering his father has zero intention of hoisting Underworld back to business, leaves Aidan utterly despondent but he’s soon finding a way to channel his rage and despair when he decides to bring down Todd.
Shayne says, “Todd works with Adam so Aidan decides that Todd must have known about what Adam did to the factory and he wants to expose their dodgy dealings.”
When he learns about a forged contract Adam and Todd have drawn up to help out Rita, he decides to get his mitts on the paperwork and expose them.
However he’s foiled by a protective Rosie who hurls a mug of water over him and steps in to grab the document. Nice work Rosie.
Meanwhile when Todd hears what’s happened he’s furious and decides to mete out his own revenge. He gives Aidan’s financial advisor a sly tip off and scuppers his chances of getting the loan he was desperate to receive.
As Todd and Aidan’s feuding ramps up, it’s clear Todd is not one to be messed with when he takes things a step further.
When he spies Aidan and Alya loading up materials into their new van he has a cunning idea.
What is Todd about to do and will Aidan rue the day he ever tried to cross Eileen's scheming son.
Uh oh….mark our words, things are about to get VERY nasty indeed!...
