Bethany Platt is caught out lying in Coronation Street this week when she fibs to mum, Sarah, and Gary Windass about where she spent the night.The smitten teen spent the night with her 'boyfriend' Nathan, but says her phone was stolen and she slept on Mel's sofa.
Her lie is exposed when Rana and Kate ask Sarah if her daughter is ok, after they saw her drunkenly get into Nathan's car in town.
Sarah is livid and confronts Bethany who eventually admits she spent the night with Nathan. She jumps to his defence saying he's her boyfriend and he rescued her when she collapsed.
Furious Sarah demands to know if they've slept together. Bethany assures her that they haven't - but is she telling the truth?
As the row escalates, Sarah bans Bethany from seeing Nathan, but will the troubled schoolgirl listen to her mum? We're not counting on it.
