Wardrobe malfunctions have got to be the worst; a loose button, a rip in your trousers but nothing is worse than when your skirt is tucked into your underwear.

Catherine, who places Eva Price in Coronation Street, revealed that her unfortunate wardrobe malfunction happened while she was filming in the Rovers return.

Although the 32-year-old actress found the funny side of things and announced that it happened on Twitter. She wrote in a tweet: "When you walk into the Rovers with your skirt fully tucked into your knickers #fullmoon #killmenow"

Luckily the scenes were re-shot so Catherine will not be flashing Coronation Street viewers.

It seems that Catherine isn't the only one, one of her Twitter followers replied saying: "Hey I've done that a few times in my local."

Another wrote: "Least you're wearing them."

Someone else wrote: "Yes but you get to walk into the Rovers. For a job! Worth the same to be on Corrie."

WARNING: Coronation Street spoilers below

Catherine may have seen the funnier side of this incident but we doubt her character Eva will find it funny when she discovers that her boyfriend Aidan Connor (played by Shayne Ward) cheats on her with her friend Maria Connor.

Samia Ghadie who plays Maria told the Radio Times: "I'd love her [Maria] to tell Eva but I do think that Maria would be quite scared of telling Eva because they go boxing.

"That would be a fight and a half!"

We're excited to see how this storyline plays out.
