The British Soap Awards 2017 took place on Saturday night, but were aired last night to make way for Ariana Grande's One Love Manchester concert

BAFTAs schmaftas.

Oscars schmoscars.

The British Soap Awards are THE awards ceremony to look forward to each year.

In our eyes, anyway.

Whilst each year is always emotional, this year was bound to get the waterworks going - especially with storylines like Michelle's devastating miscarriage in Coronation Street and Emmerdale's tragic but stunning portrayal of dementia through Ashley Thomas.

Hosted by the one and only Phillip Schofield and filmed at The Lowry in Salford, the 19th ceremony was as star-studded as ever.
