Once again, here we are, your number one source for Real Housewives of Cheshire gossip and, once again, here we are wondering, 'How the heck did WE miss this?' But, to be fair to us, short of coming into a huge amount of money, relocating to Cheshire, joining the cast and calling a lavish trip to Mijas work we suppose we're always going to be at least one step behind these ladies.
And it seems that following the wrapping of series 17, Rachel Lugo is making some serious changes in her life.
Not only is the Cheshire queen in the process of moving out of her family home, but she's now apparently reconciled with show enemy, Paige Chohan, AND she has a new man in her life.
Well, we think.
That latter life change is the one that has caught us by surprise this Friday. Since splitting from her last boyfriend, Nick, last year, Rachel has said both on and off camera (on her Instagram) the she is single and focusing on herself and her family, despite getting seemingly bombarded by suiters in her DMs.
While exposing a particularly icky interested party on Instagram, Rachel confessed that she was "off the market."
Addressing the grim individual in question (he apparently sent her an unwarranted d**k pic), Rachel wrote on her story, "I'm not on the market 🙄🤣 but thanks for the offer."
Then a day later, she once again took to her Instagram story to tell her fans that she was off for a spa day (so Cheshire) with a mysterious man named Gareth. Now, of course it's possible that Gareth is a friend of Rachel (utterly jel), but we're Closer online and we've not heard anything about a Gareth in Mrs Lugo's life until now; hence us being left here going, 'Erm, what did we miss?'
Rachel told her followers, "I've got about an hour and a half's drive to the spa. I'm going to meet Gareth there. We kind of live a distance apart so it's easier if we both drive."
Obviously, until Rachel officially announces that Gareth is indeed a new fella, all we can do is what we do best – speculate; while celebrating our Rachel on and off screen whether she's single or not.
