Westlife are known for their songs Swear It Again, If I Let You Go and Flying Without Wings. The band formed in 1998 and stayed together until 2012, however after six years (2018 to be exact) they reunited and released a new album and started touring.
The boyband were set to do a tour in 2020 and perform at Wembley Stadium for the first time but this has now been postponed to 2021/22.
Now that they've reunited, we thought we would give you update on what the members - Brian McFadden, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Shane Filan - did during their break...

Westlife: where are they now?
Brian McFadden then
Brian was part of Westlife for six years, but decided to leave in 2004 - leaving them as a group of four.

Since leaving Westlife, Brian has pursued a solo career in music – releasing his own albums. He has also had many TV appearances including being a judge on Australia's Got Talent, hosting Who's Doing the Dishes?, and taking part in the eleventh series of Dancing on Ice with Alex Murphy, coming fourth place.
Kian Egan then
Kian Egan was definitely the heartthrob of the band... probably because of his blonde hair and leather jacket in the music videos.

Kian Egan has since won the thirteenth series of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, been a coach on The Voice of Ireland and has had fair share of being a TV presenter.
Shane Filan then
Shane was known for being the lead singer of Westlife, and co-wrote a number of Westlife songs.

Bewteen Westlife disbanding in 2012 and regrouping in 2018, Shane has released three solo albums - You and Me, Right Here, and Love Always.
Mark Feehily then
Mark was also known for being one of the lead singers in the band, and the youngest of them all.

Mark is also a songwriter and has co-writen several songs for himself but also for other artists. He went on to release his own music and take on a solo career before coming back to Westlife. Mark has supported acts such as Wet Wet Wet and Mariah Carey.
Nicky Byrne then
Nicky is the oldest member of Westlife. Known for his long blonde, centre-parted hair - which soon became his blonde spiked-up hair.

In 2012, Nicky took part in the tenth series of Strictly Come Dancing and was ninth to leave the competition. A couple of years later, he was chosen to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, where he made it to the semi-final. Nicky has also presented a number of TV shows and even a radio presenter on RTE.

Brian McFadden announces fiancée's pregnancy following miscarriage heartbreak
Brian McFadden and his family
Brian is engaged to Danielle Parkinson after being together for three years.
The couple are expecting their first child together.
Brian has two daughters, from his previous marriage to Kerry Katona, Molly, 19 and Lily-Sue, 17.
Nicky Byrne and his family
Nicky is married to Georgina Ahern - the pair met when they were 12 years old and they have been married since 2003.
They have three children together - twins, Rocco and Jay born 2007, and a daughter, Gia born 2013.
Kian Egan and his family
Kian has been married to Jodi Albert since 2009.
Since then, they have had three children together. The first was their son, Koa, born 2011 and their second son, Zekey, was born 2015. Two years later, they had their third son, Cobi, born 2017.
Mark Feehily and his family
Mark got engaged to his partner, Cailean O'Neill, in 2019.
Later on in 2019, the pair announced the birth of their daughter Layla, who they had through surrogacy.
Shane Filan and his family
Shane married his wife, Gillian Walsh - cousin of Kian Egan - in 2003.
They have had three children together, one daughter and two sons. Nicole Rose, born 2005, Patrick Michael, born 2008, and Shane Peter, born 2010.
