We have to admit that when it comes to Love Island couples there are a fair few we knew would never last, and others that have surprised us by staying together.

Take Molly Marsh and Zach Noble for example; Molly is an all-singing, all-dancing theatre kid who loves making TikToks and smiling. Basically, she would have THRIVED on Glee.

Zach on the other hand is a brooding basketball-playing bro who doesn't seem all that fond of social media - or smiling, for that matter.

Yet, against all the odds, they've remained very much still an item; in fact, until about 24 hours ago, half the world thought they were engaged after Zach posted a photo of Molly's ring-clad hand on Instagram.

The season ten finalists are currently enjoying a holiday somewhere exotic and on their flight to said exotic location, Zach shared a pic on his story of Molly's manicured hand with a big 'ole rock on her wedding finger.

Cue everyone thinking the couple had decided to soft launch their engagement which if we are being honest, is not likely Molly at all. Remember when she got a Zach-inspired tattoo and documented the entire thing? She is a content queen through and through, not to mention a reality star.

Anyway, clearly enough people commented on the potential big step in the couple's romance as Zach felt the need to confirm what was going on between them via his Instagram story.

'Don't believe the internet, it's easy to send out lies,' he captioned the video as he denied claims that him and Molly were getting married.

'I recently lost a game of odds,' Zach explained, before panning the camera to Molly who delved more deets on the wedding ring fiasco.

'I think my Pandora ring joke escalated a little too far,' she admitted with Zach agreeing.

'Just a tad. I love all the responses,' he went on. 'I've got really bad knees and I ain't getting down there anytime soon.'
