It was a sad day in January when it came to light that one of our favourite Love Island couples has split.

Yep. We're talking about Love Island 2022's Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page.

We thought they'd be the next Olivia and Alex Bowen or Jamie Jewitt and Camilla Thurlow but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

While the series eight Islanders have both been fairly quiet about their split, Tasha has now opened up about what's going to happen to their adorable dog Luna who they bought in 2023 and have described as their 'baby'.

'Since there's so much horrible messages I've got about taking Luna off Andrew - first off, she is our dog who we got together.

'He is in Guernsey and decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn't take her, it wasn't ideal. When he's found a place back in the UK, we'll be working out a way for both of us to see her,' she told her Snapchat followers.

Tasha then opened up about the backlash they've both received after it came to light that they'd split.

'I didn't want to comment on this but when I'm getting messages saying I'm a horrible person, scum etc I have to put my foot down.

'No one knows what went on in our relationship behind closed doors. Don't believe every headline you read in the press. Break ups happen in life, just because ours is in the "public eye" doesn't make it any different.'

She added, 'Spread kindness also to Andrew because he's also been getting messages. Thank you. I won't be answering anymore on our relationship and Luna.'

Tasha and Andrew's break up came to light after photos of her alleged Raya profile - the celeb dating app - surfaced online.

Neither of them spoke about their relationship until last week when Andrew admitted he'd moved out of their home before telling fans, 'I've cried more times this year then I have my whole life.'
