Love Island’s Sharon Gaffka has debuted a brand-new look on Instagram and we are in love.

In the series of pictures, the islander poses at the O2 whilst showing off her gorgeous new candyfloss hair with the caption, “Him: “I think we should see other people” Me:”.

In the snaps, Sharon tagged her hair stylist, makeup artist, and the place where she gets her extensions, as well as fashion retailer,Club L London.

To compliment her babein' pink hair, she wore soft glam makeup, a silky white crop top, and black cargos.

Naturally, fans rushed to the comments to tell her how great she looked.

Former islander and Lewis Capaldi’s former flame Paige Turley wrote, “Omg loooove the pink!! 😍😍 you look amaze!”

Another Love Island contestant, Abigail Louise Rawlings, wrote, “I’m obsessed with you x”.

One Love Island boy even left a flirty comment. Brett Staniland said, “Me thinking these pics were just for me in the DM’s but OK”. Sharon responded, “I’ll send you your special pics later x”.

While she looks absolutely stunning, we could do with a reminder about who Sharon is, couldn’t you?

Who is Sharon?

Before being a Love Island contestant, she was a civil servant. But since leaving the villa, she has shifted her focus to being an advocate and social media influencer. Sharon has done a lot for charity, including campaigning for women’s rights.

Where is she from?

She is from Oxford

How old is Sharon?

27. She was born on December 1, 1995.

What series of Love Island was she on?

Season 7.

Who was she coupled up with?

On day one, she was coupled up with Hugo Hammond, but also spent time with Chuggs, Aaron Francis, and Teddy Bibby.

Does she do charity work?

Yes, she is a big advocate for women’s safety. After being spiked twice and ending up in hospital, she has partnered with Thames Valley police on a campaign to tackle violence against women.

She said about the campaign, “To be asked to be part of the violence against women and girls (VAWG) campaign with Thames Valley Police has been an honour. Ensuring women and girls feel safe in the area and across the UK is a huge concern and whatever I can do to highlight this, I will.

“I have been working with teams in the field and now have an incredible insight to what happens behind the scenes and believe sharing this will only raise greater awareness and increase knowledge on how we can all support VAWG as well as firmly knowing our rights.”

Does Sharon have a podcast?

Yes! It’s called Girls Know Nothing.

It’s described on Apple Podcasts as a “homage to women” she talks to a number of high-profile women, from reality stars to industry leaders, about a range of topics.

Does Sharon still talk to Hugo?

After being on the 2021 series together, it seems that the two no longer speak.

During their time in the villa, they came to blows over Hugo’s comments about “fake girls” but were able to overcome the argument and become good friends.

However, Sharon has since revealed that she ended their friendship after, she said, he called her a “basic bitch” and joked about her getting spiked.

On the Saving Grace podcast she explained,  “I was [close friends with Hugo] and then I cut him off really abruptly.

“One of the Islanders had a birthday and we all went out to a really gross sports bar so I was like, ‘I’m not taking my friends there’. They had just come all the way from Manchester. We’ll go to this club that someone I’m friends with invited us to. It was quite nice, we didn’t have to queue, we didn’t have to pay to get in and we didn’t have to pay for any drinks. Winner winner chicken dinner.

“And then Hugo texted me. I had no signal because the club was underground and then when I got to hotel I had been texting him and he called me a basic bitch for going to this club.”

She says that after this, she FaceTimed him and he seemed quite drunk. “Then I FaceTimed him because he seemed quite drunk and he made jokes about me getting spiked. His friend messaged me like, ‘You’ve upset Hugo’ and I was like, ‘F--k off!’ What are you, like five? Why is your mate messaging me?

“I haven’t spoken to him since. He’s tried to message me and I don’t think he knows what I’ve done. I hung up and then he messaged me again and I told him to f--k off. My friend was there and I was in the Hilton lobby going mental calling him all sorts. I was like, ‘You’re a nasty piece of work!”

Is Sharon in a relationship now?

It seems to us that she’s single at the moment.

She did, however, tell OK! last year that she was left “heartbroken” after having a relationship.

She said, "I recently had someone in my life, who I genuinely thought would be the ‘love of my life’. As disgustingly cliché as it sounds!"

"You know when you first meet somebody it's like that whirlwind-type vibes and then it just kind of fell a bit flat and it was a bit abrupt.

"At the time I felt really crushed by it but actually I realise longer term that I never regret anyone that's walked out of my life for a variety of different reasons. For me, the reason I don't regret this person walking out of my life is because I'm now able to put 100 per cent into myself."

What did Sharon have to say about her time on Love Island?

She explained that she felt like she had helped others who might not be ones to naturally, or like to, stand in the spotlight.

"Most of my 'Love Island' experience has been helping other people come out of their shell and being that supporting role," she told ITV. "It was only towards the end I realized that I'm here for the same reason as everyone else so I should be selfish and not take a backseat because of the friends I've made."
