We've got less than two months until another series of Love Island begins but until then, we'll be focusing on the winter Islanders.

In an exclusive interview with Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, he opened up and admitted that he got told off for speculating about the show and it left his girlfriend slightly suspicious.

"I used to call him producer Ron," Lana joked.

"I got told off a fair bit. I kept being called chief speculator," Ron admitted.

"You're not allowed to speculate on whether or not you think there's going to be a recoupling or whether you think there's going to be a date or a bombshell coming in - but I loved it.

"I loved saying, 'There's definitely going to be a recoupling tonight. We haven't had one for a couple of days. It's tonight, dress good tonight'."

He then explained why happens when you break the rules, "They tell you off. I kept getting told by the VOG [voice of god aka the producers on the tannoy] stop speculating or stop talking about production.

"I just loved it because I feel like I wanted to be in control on guessing because it prepared you for the worst."

Lana then added, "I didn't really get told off. I was really good in there. I was quite well behaved."

While Lana might not have been told off, her co-stars Jessie Wynter got told off in unaired scenes and so did Anna-May Robey
