They’ve become reality TV royalty since the launch of their show, Olivia Meets Her Match. And in a special spin-off series earlier this year – titled Olivia Marries Her Match – viewers watched as Love Island's Olivia Attwood and Bradley Dack finally tied the knot.
And now, insiders tell Closer that the couple are gearing up to begin a family together – but have differing opinions on when to take that leap.
While recently making her debut as a regular panellist on Loose Women, Olivia revealed babies were not on her agenda. She said while discussing having children, “That is a human, for the rest of your life. When I feel that desire in my heart, then I know that it’s time.”
Now a source says, “Brad and Olivia both have dreams of having a really big family – it’s something they’ve spoken about since very early on in their relationship. And Bradley is pretty keen to start trying now and get on with it. But Olivia is really thriving in her career right now and feels she’s at the top of her game. She doesn’t want anything to jeopardise that.
“As much as she definitely wants to be a mum, there are things she still wants to do around TV and presenting which would probably need to be put on hold if she started a family, and she wants to achieve all she can before she becomes a mum.”
Indeed, Olivia, 32, has gone from strength-to-strength in her career since she rose to fame on Love Island in 2017, reaching the final with co-star and then-boyfriend Chris Hughes. The pair had a spin-off reality show before their split the following year, but Olivia has since starred on TOWIE, The Games, I’m A Celebrity! and Celebs Go Dating, as well as her own show.
She’s also fronted her own documentary following the rise of OnlyFans titled Olivia: Getting Filthy Rich and has become a regular panellist on Loose Women this summer.
Bradley and Olivia first met and dated before she found fame, after meeting in a nightclub in 2015. Olivia recently revealed that following their split and her appearance on Love Island, footballer Bradley was desperate to get her back, with Olivia saying, “He messaged me two days after I came out of the villa and was like, ‘We’re not done’… I was like, ‘This guy is like a dog with a bone!’ But if we hadn’t had that break, we 100 per cent would not be together now and married.”
They eventually rekindled their romance in 2018 and got engaged a year later. And after postponing their big day twice – as work commitments, Covid restrictions and Bradley’s football injuries got in the way – the pair said “I do” in June this year.
And the source adds, “Bradley and Liv are loving life as newlyweds and love that they’re finally married after so long together. But for Liv, that doesn’t mean she wants to go straight into starting a family.
“She’s feeling amazing at the moment and wants to keep heading up on this trajectory with her career. She’s very firm on the idea that when she does decide to have a baby, she wants her whole focus on that, nothing else. Brad has said he accepts that, but he’s still keen to get the ball rolling – although he’s happy to wait and be as supportive as possible with Liv as she thrives in her job.”
