Taking part in Love Island is not for the weak of heart.
Sure, you may well find the love of your life, land a few brand deals and enjoy a few weeks away at some sun drenched location, but it doesn't come without its drawbacks.
You might be given the 'villain edit', you might come out of the villa and disappear into the aether like some Casa Amor nobody and possibly worst of all, you might be stuck on the dating show for weeks with people you cannot stand.
This year's series of Love Island was the first time a 'celebrity' entered the villa when former TOWIE star Joey Essex sauntered in as the first bombshell of the season.
During his stint on the romance reality TV show, Joey found a friend in the form of Sean Stone but often clashed with the likes of Josh Oyinsan and Mimii Ngulube.
The ongoing Joey and Sean vs. Josh and Mimii feud came to a head during the talent show, and carried on into the following episode, which saw the Islanders play the always row-inducing game, Couple of Sorts.
It turns out that this may well have been the reason the show received 1,831 Ofcom complaints.
In fact the dating show came in second place on the list of the most complained about shows of 2024, just behind Good Morning Britain which had a staggering 16,783 complaints.
Side note, who remembers when the All Stars took part in the challenge earlier on in the year? Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie were ecstatic when they were voted third hottest couple. Iconic.
Anyway, the Love Island 2024 cast weren't as jovial as the All Stars pros and when the subject of who the viewers voted 'which couple is staying together to win' countless Islanders went head-to-head, none more so than Joey, Sean and Josh.
Of course it all revolved around #terracegate and Joey labelling the ordeal a 'secret mission', a mission that him and Sean brought up at every single opportunity; be it in a rap, a comedy roast, over breakfast, during a challenge or on a romantic date.
Unsurprisingly, no one wanted to nominate themselves as, 'staying together to win,' with Joey and Sean claiming Mimii and Josh should take to the podium due to their belief Mimii still had feelings for Ayo Oudkoya.
As for Josh, he thought Joey and Jessy Potts should be up there because she was the fourth person he had coupled up with and Sean and Matilda Draper should also take a stand as 'staying together to win' because Sean spent Casa Amor week snogging Diamanté Laiva and flirting with Ruby Dale.
Whatever the viewers reasons for complaining about this particular episode, there is no denying that Josh ate when he turned to Joey and Sean and demanded, 'How can everyone understand the logic but you two?'
