Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury stole our hearts back in 2019, when they won the fifth series of Love Island, but last August, shocked fans when they announced their separation. Now, after rekindling things, we’re told Tommy’s upcoming boxing match – and the temptations time away from home brings – has Molly-Mae worrying she’s going to be left alone again.
After much speculation surrounding the split, Tommy, 25, revealed, ‘The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. People go through different things in life, and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine.’
However, just eight months later – after enjoying family holidays in Dubai and Centre Parcs with their two-year-old daughter, Bambi – they are now back living together.
But an insider tells Closer that Molly-Mae, also 25, is worried about the future, as Tommy continues to battle his demons – and it’s causing tension between the pair.

‘Molly-Mae and Tommy have confirmed their status as “figuring things out”, and that's the telling part of it,’ they explain. ‘The love is still so strong, but the reality they are both facing head on is one they can't avoid: Tommy's addiction issues.
‘Molly-Mae’s made it clear that she and Bambi can't be by his side if Tommy’s going to drink again - so he's got a long road ahead of him. She wants to have more children and get married - but it's up to him, and the risk of it all terrifies her.’
Tommy also has a huge boxing match scheduled for 9 May in Budapest - which means he has moved out of their mansion for training, once again leaving his partner on her own. Tommy has already been sharing snaps of the £500-a-night luxury suite he has chosen to stay in while training in Hungary.

‘On a daily basis, things are great - they are both so happy to be back together as a family, but there is always stress over Tommy’s upcoming plans to move out again for training,’ the source adds.
‘Molly-Mae knows that training is keeping Tommy on the straight, and that it's the best thing for his mental health. But she can't help but worry when he's away from her or has big events, like the fight, because she knows that it's a lot of pressure on him when he is still battling his demons.’
The source continues, ‘Molly-Mae loves Tommy so much, but it's breaking her heart that she can't fix him. He still has to prove to her that he can change and that she can now trust him again. She needs to feel sure that what happened last year won't be repeated again.’
