The Love Island star opens up about her top beauty tips and embracing her confidence
She turned heads during her stint on Love Island in 2016 – eventually bagging Alex Bowen who she wed earlier this month. But Olivia Buckland has been honest and open about her insecurities, previously telling Closer: "I do feel pressure to look good, especially when you’re in the public eye and pictures are publish of you".
And opening up about her top beauty tips, the 24-year old – who has recently teamed up with Skin Republic to launch her own Prep + Glow sheet mask - says going make up and free and feeling confident are among her top beauty tips.

With a busy working schedule – and a hectic 2017 that saw her planning her recent nuptials to Alex – Olivia says it’s also vital to find time to relax.
"I love to unwind with a bath at the end of the day. I try to put a few drops of baby oil in, which leaves my skin super soft and silky. This is a beauty savior when my skin is feeling really dry after a sunny holiday.
"I also always apply a sheet mask before I do my make up. My masks from PREP + GLOW with Skin Republic are just over a fiver, which I reckon is a bit of a bargain.
"My skin feels great after and it provides that perfect base so my foundation goes on smoothly and you have that flawless finish. Skincare is a massive thing for me. I’m like most girls – some days my skin is dry and some days it’s oily and I’m breaking out!"
But the beauty insists she loves her make-up free days: "I love having those days when I can let my skin breathe. I actually feel my most beautiful without makeup on, as I am learning to love more of a natural look.
"Confidence and taking care of yourself. It all starts from within. If you don’t feel good about yourself on the inside how are you going to feel good about yourself on the outside?
"It’s so much to do with confidence. It’s the most attractive thing. Like everyone I have good days and bad days."
