The latest series of Love Island really has kept us on our toes and now George Fensom has exposed the 'jarring' and 'awful' scenes - his words, not ours.

The first Islander dumped from the 2023 series took to TikTok after his brutal elimination and answered fans questions about how the show runs and his love interests during his time filming.

In a particular video after a fan asked, "Do you wake up soon as the bedroom lights come on?", he described the experience as "jarring".

Nobody wants to be woken up first thing in the morning by a raging alarm but is a startling bright light really any better? George clearly doesn’t think so.

He exposed the daily morning routine by explaining, “You literally get woken up with a bright light in your face.

"It is absolutely awful. It was the bane of my life. I absolutely hated it.”

Additionally with the brash awakening, you’re required to put your mic on before even a mere five minutes of chatter in the morning.

George said, “The second you get up, the first thing you do, before you even go for a swig of water, you put your mic on.

"You're sat in bed for five minutes talking about last night - if anyone came in, if there's any drama - and then basically they start calling people to the beach hut.

"And they'll say, 'Why don't you and couple of the boys go to the sun terrace?'

"The girls would go upstairs to get ready. That's when they'll have their chats on the terrace in the morning."

He then added, "But for the most part you are literally woken up with a bright light in your face. It is not ideal. I wouldn't even wish that on my enemy to be honest."

Blimey.

Let's hope that George continues to spill all kinds of opinions on his TikTok because who knows what he’ll say next?
