Love Island’s Gabby Allen has revealed she’s cut ties with Dan Osborne, who she became friends with inside the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2018.

The pair had already been romantically linked before they entered the house, something they both strenuously denied.

But it was their antics inside the house, during a time both Dan and his wife Jacqueline Jossa credit with “saving their relationship”, that really got the nation's eyebrows raised, particularly when Dan offered to give Gabby a sexy massage.

But now Gabby has revealed she’s no longer friends with Dan out of “respect” for EastEnders star Jac – particularly in the wake of reports that he recently snogged another Love Island star, Alexandra Cane.

"I just think - I really hope it didn't happen because it's so s**t to have that hanging over your head and people thinking that you're a homewrecker when you didn't do anything,” Gabby said of the rumours.

“I hope for both their sake's it didn't happen. And for Jossa's sake.

"It is hard for everyone because if he didn't do it - he's being told he did and that's s**t for him.”

Later on in the interview with The Sun, Gabby added, “I think he's my age or a bit older than me. And he's got three kids now. It's all a big mess.

"I haven't spoken to him. Once again it's a level of respect.

"I don't want to tread on anyone's toes. Jac and her family are much more important than me and Dan being mates.

“Me and Jac spoke after the original rumours – but not after Big Brother – I was literally like: 'It is ridiculous' and it was settled I think. I just think there's no need for me and Dan to be friends."
