After over ten years of Love Island, we wouldn’t blame you if you’d forgotten an Islander or two. However, the very first OG cast have a special place in our hearts, so you’d be remiss to not have a single one on your top ten Islanders list. To jog your memory, the 2015 series gave us the icon that is Hannah Elizabeth, who made a comeback on Love Island All Stars, her boyfriend at the time Jon Clark, as well as winners Jessica Hayes and Max Morley.

Before he went on Love Island, Chris was a club promoter and model. He’s also no stranger to reality TV, having competed on Take Me Out way back in 2012. It turns out that Chris has brains as well as beauty, and he has a BA degree in Business Management and a MA degree in International Marketing from Newcastle University.
Chris is now a podcast host, hosting Modern Wisdom and welcoming guest stars on each week to discuss various life lessons. He says his goal is to learn from some of the world’s ‘greatest thinkers,’ some of whom apparently include previous guest controversial YouTuber Jordan Peterson.

It turns out Chris does not look back on his Love Island days fondly, mainly because, then 27, he was still trying to figure out who he was.
‘I got on to Love Island and had nowhere to hide from people who were the person I was pretending to be. I was there with people who were genuinely extroverted, outgoing, party people.
'And I was just playing a role… I'd convinced myself [the show] was something that made me finally belong. And I didn't belong,' he told the BBC.
