Although there are many upsides to life in the Love Island villa, like a free holiday to Majorca, spending your time surrounded by hot singletons and the potential to take home the £50,000 prize money, we have to admit there are some downsides, too.
As well as being cut off from the outside world and not seeing your nearest and dearest for weeks, it’s definitely not ideal to have to share two bathrooms and one (admittedly massive) bedroom with 11 other people.
In fact, Love Island 2019 bombshell India Reynolds has just shared a behind-the-scenes bedroom secret that makes us think about the whole Love Island experience very differently.
In an exclusive chat with Closer online following the release of her latest India Loves collection with Pour Moi, India explained that the Islanders have to do a lot of bed-hopping during their time in the villa when the couples change in the recoupling.
However, the bed sheets aren’t changed every time a new couple stay in the bed so you could find yourself sleeping in someone else’s used sheets, which is… not sexy at all.
“When they do the couple changes, you’d have the recoupling and then you’d have to go back in and move the bed you were in,” India said. “But then you’re in a random person’s bed that they’ve been sleeping in up until that point.”
She added, “They change them once a week, so you have to get into someone else’s bedsheets.
“It’s not that anybody’s manky, but do you know what I mean?”
Speaking about her new lingerie collection, India told us, “I’ve worked with Pour Moi for probably nearly 10 years now, and we’ve done a few collections together. Obviously, this is the latest one and the stuff is so great. We’ve tried to do a bit of everything with the underwear. Our main thing was it looks amazing but fits really well, too.”
She continued, “My favourite piece in this collection is the champagne India Bold Floral Embroidery Non-Padded Bra, I just think it’s absolutely beautiful! The embroidery almost shimmers, it looks super expensive, and the extra detail looks gorgeous if you wear in the evening with a slightly open shirt or blazer.
“I also love it under something sheer. But we haven’t compromised on fit so you can wear it day to day under a t-shirt if you want to feel sexy.”
