“For me, I haven’t watched the show. I’m not so into the mix of the show and what’s going on,” he explained.
“I’ve of course had a look at a few seasons as I was going through the process, just to have a look.”
He added, “So I got approached. They've come to me and said they wanted me on the show, so I've just been going by every process and it's been amazing.”

Despite not watching the show, it turns out Ayo is actually pals with a few past contestants including Toby Aromolaran and Tyrique Hyde.
“I know a few people, like Toby is someone I played football with back in the day. So, that’s someone I knew and Tyrique was and his little brother, I know him,” Ayo explained.
He’s also been around some past Love Island girls too as he added, “I’ve been to a couple of events and seen some girls out, but nothing has come from it. There was no chat or no interaction, just I could see them from afar. That was pretty much it.”

Ayo was coupled up with Patsy Field on day one after the Islanders were tasked with ranking themselves as boyfriend and girlfriend material. He then coupled up with Mimii Ngulube after they sparked a connection, but bombshell Uma Jammeh came in and stole Ayo.
Their love triangle ended when Ayo decided he'd rather be with Mimii and they were coupled up all the way until Casa Amor, when he chose to recouple with bombshell Jessica Spencer.
