We're sure all EastEnders fans miss seeing Zack Morris on their screens.
He appeared in Walford for five years between 2017 and 2022 and had an array of storylines in his time including a romance that fans were obsessed with.
As he was on the programme for half a decade, let’s revisit his character and what he got up to.
Who is Zack Morris?
Zack is well known for his role on EastEnders but it turns out he got his big break came after he bagged a scholarship thanks to JLS’ Marvin Humes.
Speaking to What’s On TV, Zack said, "Marvin Humes went there [Bromley academy]. He’s got a scholarship, which I’ve got. He picks one person every year to fund, and he funds me.
"He’s really nice, and comes in a couple of times a year to have a chat with me. He’s been really supportive."
Who was Zack Morris in EastEnders?
He was part the Taylor family and played Keegan Baker.
What happened to Keegan Baker?
Keegan had a lot of storylines including dealing with knife crime after he was stabbed and his friend Shakil Kazemi [Shaheen Jafargholi] diedas a result of his injuries.
He also had a few romance troubles - including pursuing Louise Mitchell [Tilly Keeper] and falling for Tiffany Butcher [Maisie Smith]. Their relationship moved rather quickly and before you knew it, they were engaged and eloped despite their families trying to stop them.
Keegan and Tiffany's relationship had a few bumps in the road including her brother Liam Butcher [Alfie Deegan] trying to sabotage their marriage and Keegan cheating...
What happened with Keegan Baker and Dotty Cotton?
Keegan caused drama in his marriage when he cheated on Tiffany with Dotty Cotton [Milly Zero] after a one-night-stand.
After the mistake came to light, they separated with Tiff signing the divorce papers and leaving for Germany. Luckily they managed to make things work and left Walford together.
Is Zack Morris returning to EastEnders?
Well because he’s not dead, there’s always the possibility that he could come back. But unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon if what he’s said is anything to go by.
When he left the show, he said, “After five beautiful years on this incredible show, I have made the tough decision to leave Walford and give Keegan Butcher-Baker some well-earned rest.
“This show has quite frankly changed my life for the better. It will always hold a real loving place in my heart."
However he told Metro, as many former Albert Square residents do "never say never".
He went on to say, "I am going to try and go for gold, take every opportunity I can get. Trying new characters, reading new scripts – just broadening my horizon and testing myself. I am hungry, I am ready. It’s not about the show itself, it's about me as a person.
"Once I have had a shot at all of that, but who knows, I love the show to pieces, I’d never have a bad word to say about it and it was always good to me. But right now, the new opportunities are my focus."
What is Zack Morris doing now?
After leaving the soap, he currently has two upcoming projects.
He will star in a series adaptation of R. L. Stines's popular children's Goosebumps novels, where he will play the character of Isaiah. He will also star in a yet-to-be-announced role in an action thriller film called Jericho Ridge.
