Coronation Street LEDGE Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker on the soap, has stunned fans with just how much weight he has lost in recent months after taking up running.
Taking to his Instagram to share a snap of himself in some high-tech sports gear after a sunny bank holiday run, Colson said, “Bank Holiday run done 🤩 Feet up & some family time while staying at home now! Have a good un folks 🇬🇧☀️."
Friends and fans flooded the comments to congratulate Colson on his hard work, with one fan writing, “You look amazing, all the hard work is paying off.”
“Looking super fit! 🙌🏼 👏🏻”, said another, while one more wrote, “Giving Adele a run for her money”.

But their excitement is short lived when, later that day, Leanne finds Oliver having a seizure at home and frantically rings an ambulance.

Though Oliver seems to have calmed down by the time paramedics arrive, Steve and Leanne describe Oliver's symptoms to a doctor who seems concerned.

Later on when Nick is reading a bedtime story to Oliver he suffers another seizure and ends up in intensive care. Nick asks David to talk to Leanne about living with epilepsy.

Meanwhile, Cathy is at her wits end working at the kebab shop with Bernie and is threatening to quit until Dev offers her an extra 50p an hour.

Later on when David is meant to be at Gail's birthday tea, he heads to the Kabin and overhears Craig and Bernie discussing some gang wars at a nearby estate.

Formulating a plan in his head, David makes his way over to the nearby Hylda Park estate and spots a car full of lads who look as though they're dealing drugs.

Getting ahead of himself, David ends up leaping on the bonnet of their car. Soon the lads rev the engine and give chase to a fleeing David.

At the Bistro, new manager Don makes it clear he's unhappy with Ed's work and when he makes racist remarks under his breath, Michael is shocked that his dad lets it go.

But Ed isn't the only Bailey to face trouble. On the street, James is discussing his recent match with Tim when they're approached by a County fan.

As the fan gets closer he begins shouting homophobic slurs at James. James sees red and launches a punch as Tim tries to break them up.

And Colson’s Corrie co-stars also showed their support, with Kirk Sutherland actor Andy Whyment saying, “Looking absolutely mega pal well done 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻” and former Sophie Webster actress Brooke Vincent saying, “CRAIG TINKERS GONNA HAVE GROUPIES VERY SOON.”
Colson has been keeping fans updated with his health overhaul recently, revealing he’s been keeping up his home workouts while stuck in isolation.

One fan wrote, “[I’m] looking forward to seeing how Craig’s sudden weight loss is written into Corrie!”, but recent episodes have seen ape Craig vow to get in shape after a disastrous turn trying to catch a criminal, and thisweek will see Craig try to convince David Platt to go on a run with him.
Speaking to Lorraine last month about the new storylines, Colson said, “When you go up and suggest a storyline where your character kind of goes on a bit of a transformation, the one thing in the back of my head is, ‘oh I’ve got to do that as well.’
“So while we’re not seeing the street at the moment, I’ve kind of kept Craig Tinker’s fitness journey on behind closed doors.
“So when we’re back, we’re ready to see what Craig’s been up to lately really.”
