What are protein pancakes?
Protein pancakes are a healthier alternative to normal pancakes without the refined sugars and flours that are typically associated with pancakes. They can be made in a variety of ways with just a few simple ingredients and can be made in minutes.
Popular ingredients in protein pancakes are bananas, chickpeas, oats, seeds and yoghurt.
For those who are looking for an extra boost, adding protein powder is a great way to do this. It adds not only flavour, but also an extra dose of protein - perfect for those having pancakes as a pre or post gym snack.
