How much do you spend per week?
Around £100 for me and Reggie [her two-year-old son]. I’m one of those people who buys bits and bobs throughout the week.
Describe your daily diet…
I’ve been naughty lately by starting the day with a lot of bread, so I’ve got to stop that soon! I’ll have olive bread with some form of eggs on top for breakfast, while lunch is typically a sandwich. Dinner is always homemade, usually a stir-fry. I’m good at making Thai curries as I’ve been on a lot of Thai cooking courses. I’ll cook a veg green curry, or a basil and chilli chicken one. I snack on crisps if I’m feeling peckish.
Is there anything you refuse to eat?
I won’t eat pork because I love pigs – they’re so cute! I don’t like blue cheese, either – it’s rotten.
What do you cook to impress?
I love getting the barbecue out and making a really good jerk chicken. I’ll season everything, then make homemade coleslaw, and potatoes with onion seeds, butter and garlic.
Usual takeaway order?
There’s a vegan place near me that does amazing falafel balls with salad, chilli sauce and mint yoghurt.

Favourite drink?
I love filling a jug full of water with strawberries, mint, cucumber and lemon slices and leaving it in the fridge to chill.
Verdict
Nutritionist Juliette Kellow says, “Josie is clearly a carb lover – but watching portion sizes and choosing the right carbs is sensible. Wholegrain bread, brown rice and wholemeal pitta are higher in fibre than their white counterparts, so will help to fill her up for longer. Josie could also swap crisps for a small handful of almonds, as they provide far more protein and fibre.”
