The noughties was an iconic time. We're talking Avril Lavigne, low-rise jeans (which are apparently making a comeback) and, of course, Turkey Twizzlers.
We're still beat up about the fact Jamie Oliver reformed our school dinners but Pasta King was an ample substitute, so we'll let it slide.
There were so many staples in the '00s that didn't make it to the 10s...and some really sub-par ones that actually did. Seriously, have you tried a Lunchable as an adult? One word - bland.
Follow us on a trip down memory lane as we recall some of the '00s tastiest offerings...

9 foods from the 00s we wish would make a comback
Heinz Baked Beans Pizza
A remnant from the '90s, Heinz Baked Beans Pizza briefly greeted '00s kids before it was tragically discontinued in 2003. Its fans then graduated onto the Gregg's sausage, beans and cheese bake, but it's hard to forget this naughty number's cheesy goodness.
Mars Delight
Mars Delight made a fleeting visit onto the supermarket aisles and was discontinued after just four years in 2008. With caramel, chocolate and a crunchy wafer, this choc bar was released as a lighter alternative to its indulgent sister, the original Mars Bar.
Galaxy Truffle
We're still upset that this was stolen from us. The Galaxy Truffle was one of the best picks in a tub of Celebrations but was sadly discontinued in 2011, only to be replaced by a mediocre Twix bar (sorry, Twix).
Cadbury Dream
Cadbury Dream fans can finally rejoice as 2020 marked the year that Cadbury brought back their signature white choc. It's not quite Dream, if you ask us, but the new Cadbury White is an ample substitute for that 2002 OG classic.
Fox's Echo Bar
Echo! Who remembers these? These were a lunchbox staple. A blend of milk and white choc on a crunchy biscuit base - mmm, what could be better? These were supposedly 'upgraded' to Fox's Velvety bars but, to be honest, we don't think they're the same.
Panda Pops
These were the best. Day out with the fam, stop off at a pub, Panda Pop in hand, things are good. Panda Pops, notorious for their subsequent sugar rush, were discontinued in 2011 because well, all good things come to an end.
Bendick's Mingles
Mingles might as well have been the kid's version of After Eights - before eights, they should have called them. Sadly, these tasty 2000s treats won't be joining us in the '20s, but at least we can still play the After Eight game.
Wrigley's Extra Thin Ice Sheets
Finding a snap of these bad boys wasn't easy to do. It's like the internet has erased them from our memory but, not to worry, we still recall these literal breaths of fresh air. All the cool kids had these back in 2003 - where did they go?
Campino Yoghurt Fruit Candies
Any '00s car journey was not complete without Campinos (unless you were one of the unlucky ones with a pot of 'travel sweets'). We can still remember that delicious mix of creamy yoghurt and strawberry but, sadly, it wasn't meant to be, and Campinos were axed in the mid-noughties.
{#h-}
We honestly don't understand how Bounty - BOUNTY - has made it through 70 years of sales, while Galaxy Truffle was viciously snatched from our grasps in under 20 years.
Still, the fact that Bounty remains in a box of Celebrations despite everyone joking about them and leaving them in the tub to be ignored once more until the following Christmas, quite frankly, baffles us.
Justice for Galaxy Truffle, tbh.
Thankfully, in 2019, Galaxy re-released a new line of truffles and they are indeed as delicious as the original treats.
