Kellogg’s are launching WHITE chocolate Coco Pops and OMG

Just when you thought there was nothing better than a Pop Tart for breakfast, Kellogg's launched the Pop Tarts Crunch cereal in 1994. Available in frosted strawberry and frosted brown sugar cinnamon - we'd be happy with either flavour to make a comeback in our breakfast bowls, thanks.

Snap!, Crackle! and Pop! first gave us this sugary goodness back in 1982. Who remembers fishing out the marshmallow bits with a spoon before wolfing down the krispies?

We all know that cookies and cream are a winning combo, which is why Oreo cereal just made so much sense. Oreo hoops drenched in cold milk which soon turned into chocolate-milk greatness - delish! In their noticeable absence, just get a packet of Oreos and a pint of cold milk, then get dipping.

Star shaped cookie puffs sweetened with syrup and sprinkled with hundreds-and-thousands? Yes please. These magical little munchies were as pretty as they were tasty. And the almighty crunch just about sealed their place in this list.

Froot Loops are a true oldie but goodie, first launched way back in the '60s. Toucan Sam was the Froot Loop connoisseur with his rainbow beak representing the flavours which included cherry, orange, lemon and grape. Surely we could count these as part of our five a day?

Think cinnamon Golden Grahams dusted in chocolate with tiny marshmallow pieces and you're on the right lines for S'mores Crunch. So it was basically a delicious dessert in your belly before the day even started.

Waffles for breakfast have always been an excellent idea, which is what made the maple syrup flavoured Waffle Crisps totally moreish.

2002 was a good year with the launch of these marshmallow and chocolate filled grahams. Biting into a Smorz was basically breakfast heaven.

Who didn't love The Smurfs as a kid? Of course the popular cartoon won itself a cereal line! Dear old Papa Smurf served up a bowl of fruity sweetened corn, supposedly made with 'Smurf-berries'.

No list of retro cereals would be complete without Cap'n Crunch, especially Peanut Butter. Crunchy cereal balls made with real peanut butter - this is simple but seriously tasty cereal we need in our lives again.

Think little tiny pieces of crispy toast with a cinnamon coating - they knew how to start the day properly in 1984! And staying with the toast theme...

This was the sister cereal to Cinnamon Toast Crunch, with slight difference in flavouring using a French toast taste. We were a big fan of both but would take either back. Please?

Rocky Road as a cereal? We're still salivating over 30 years since its launch. The only thing that will stop this drooling is bringing its marshmallowy and chocolatey goodness back to our bowls.

What happens when two great foods unite? Dunkin' Donuts Cereal, that's what. Launched back in 1988, sugary donut-shaped hoops were available in either Glazed Style or Chocolate. Thankfully, we'll settle with proper, original glazed donuts until the cereal version makes a comeback.

These little guys had a short but seriously sweet stint in the mid-'80s. Nerds candy was turned into a cereal with two flavours available in each box - orange/strawberry or cherry/grape. The big question was: 'which side are you gonna eat first?' If only we still had a choice!

Another nod to cartoon themed cereals, The Flinstones had a whole range! Cocoa Pebbles were super chocolatey nuggets and tasted amazing in a bowl of cold milk.

One of the original greats, Quisp by Quaker Oats debuted in 1965 with space-saucer shaped corn bites baked in syrup. You might also remember the crazy cartoon advertisements featuring cute characters Quisp and Quake.
