"I wish I had listened to him a bit more. I trusted his judgement more than Mel B. He's been there before, done it all. Mel B was honest but I didn't quite get what she was trying to get out of me."

Jack said he felt like he couldn't challenge Scary Spice if he disagreed with a song choice, and claimed she was more interested in entertaining the viewers than making him the best he could be.

He also suggested that Mel didn't care about him as much as her other act Jake Quickenden. He said there were "no tears" from her on his exit, unlike her emotional break down when Jake was sent home.

"I didn't really see her after I got booted off. She just said 'I'll let you have your moment', then she went."

And Jack revealed he won't be watching the rest of the competition, adding: "It doesn't really interest me anyway."
