MEL B ON SPICE GIRLS: 'WE DON'T KNOW HOW OLD GERI REALLY IS'

Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl admitted she thinks that only half of the group has what it takes to make it big.

She told Digital Spy: “There are 4 or 5 of them that could make a great group, can really sing, good looking – the ingredients you need for a group.

“I do feel bad for them because they were put into a group, they cam as solo artists so they can all sing. They just didn’t have that extra [something].”

MEL B CONFIRMS X FACTOR FEUD: "CHERYL AND LOUIS HATE EACH OTHER"

Meanwhile X Factor choreographer Brian Friedman has hit back at reports Cheryl will be miming when she performs on the results show tonight.

She will be singing her latest single I Don’t Care, but it was claimed that it would be pre-recorded.

However Brian said: “She’s been singing in rehearsals live – she’s singing and dancing every time we run it.”

THE SECRETS BEHIND MEL B'S AMAZING BODY

Speaking to a British magazine, Brian said he doesn’t think Cheryl has any reason to mime. He continued: “There’s a certain type of artist that, as a choreographer, you want to have in the studio if you’re doing dance performances.

“Britney [Spears] had that, Janet [Jackson] had that, Mya, Pink, Beyonce has it and Cheryl has that too. She’s in that category.”
