VIDEO: Tulisa will appeal conviction for assaulting TOWIE star Vas Morgan

Tulisa Contostavlos has claimed she is innocent and is planning to launch an appeal, after she was found guilty of assaulting TOWIE star and celebrity blogger, Vas Morgan.

Vas – real name Savvas Morgan – alleged the assault took place at V Festical, in Essex.

Following the guilty verdict, the former X Factor judge was ordered to pay costs totally £3,020, including costs for the prosecution, compensation to Vas, a victim surcharge and a personal fine.

However, outside of court, Tulisa said she was “outraged” at the decision and urged witnesses to come forward.

Tulisa’s personal assistant, Gareth Varey, was cleared of using threatening behaviour, by the court.

The ‘guilty’ verdict comes just days after Tulisa’s most recent court case collapsed dramatically after the judge said that there were ‘strong grounds to believe’ that undercover reporter Mazher Mahmood had ‘lied’ under oath.
