But Amy Childs suffered a spectacular fail on the red carpet recently when she admitted she didn’t know what Ebola was.

Perhaps more embarrassing for the former TOWIE star is that she thought the highly deadly virus – which is causing devastation in West Africa – was actually a band.

Appearing on the red carpet at the MOBOs last month, Jolyon Rubinstein asked the 24-year-old: “Have we done enough to prevent the spread of Ebola?”

Looking beyond confused, Amy replied: “What?”

Obviously deciding to have a joke at poor Amy’s expense, the reporter then asked: “You know Ebola is going to be huge, don’t you?”

“I might be a fan after tonight,” Amy responded. “I think it will be absolutely amazing.”
