Fans have hailed Victoria Beckham as the newest member of ‘Club Ageless’ after the 50-year-old was pictured looking younger than ever at the launch of her new collection last week.
Showing off her flawless skin and wrinkle-free complexion, the mum of four looked like she’d barely aged from her days as a fresh-faced Posh Spice, who shot to fame with the Spice Girls three decades ago.
And now an insider tells Closer that since celebrating her milestone birthday earlier this year, Victoria has made it her goal to turn back the clocks and recapture her youth.
A source says, ‘Vic’s made anti-ageing part of her job since turning 50 and has been turning to her “ageless idols”, including Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, J.Lo and pal Eva Longoria for all their go-tos. She’s been indulging in a range of facials and cosmetic procedures round the clock, as well as keeping up her daily at-home routine. She’s constantly out and about at events, rubbing shoulders with Hollywood elite, so she wants to keep up and she’s ramped up the pressure in recent months. It’s become a little bit of an insane obsession, but she does look amazing for it, so it’s working.’
The new snaps came as the fashion designer – who according to husband David, 49, has eaten the same thing for 25 years, rarely deviating from grilled fish, steamed vegetables, nuts and seeds – attributed her extreme diet to her life-long battle with acne.
‘It was because of my skin that I became very careful about what I ate,’ VB insisted, after revealing that she’s also eliminated wheat and flour from her diet, in addition to meat, sugar, processed foods, dairy and gluten.
The star – who had breast implants in the early nineties, which she later had removed – has previously admitted to having Botox and lip fillers following intense speculation over her noticeably plumper pout. But last year, she insisted she’d stopped in 2018 because, ‘I just felt it was too much. I just felt like hiding, you know?’
Posh has also revealed she religiously uses a £2000 LED device for 30 minutes every morning in her effort to maintain her youthful skin.
But pals say the star has also been turning to the very best ‘tweakments’ Hollywood has to offer this year. We’re told, ‘Vic’s been having micro-current facials, contouring, cold therapy and a mix of micro needling and radio-frequency therapy, which Eva swears by. She’s started undergoing Coolaser skin resurfacing, which stimulates collagen and reduces acne scars, after Kim recommended it, as well as undergoing a non-surgical facelift which involves strategically placing fillers for natural skin rejuvenation without going under the knife.
‘Kim also recommended stem cell Exosome therapy, which uses stem cells to help rejuvenate the skin and is said to be the “next generation treatment for ageing”, which she says has been a game changer.’
And after also confessing she’d ‘never say never’ to going under the knife in the name of beauty, pals say she’s hell-bent on doing whatever it takes to avoid having more plastic surgery.
The source adds, ‘While Vic doesn’t feel obliged to grow old gracefully, she wants to maintain the effortless, natural look for as long as she can.
‘She knows that at some stage that may change but, for now, she’s adamant that with her rigid diet and beauty regime, she can avoid going down that route – or at least put it off for as long as she possibly can.’
