Victoria, 40, took to Twitter this afternoon to share a romantic throwback from their wedding in 1999.

She captioned the picture: “15 beautiful years. We feel so blessed and thankful for your love and support over the years. Such a special day.”
They got together in 1997 and Victoria revealed in her autobiography Learning To Fly that they were able to have ‘normal’ first dates, such as going to the pub and taking walks together.
By January 1998, David and Victoria were engaged. At 24 and 25 respectively, they were married in a lavish ceremony at Luttrelltown Castle in Ireland the following year.

Both David and Victoria have joked in the past about they both wanted to be with each other before they actually met.
Writing in his autobiography Both Feet On The Ground, David said: “My wife picked me out of a soccer sticker book. And I chose her off the telly… It felt straight away like we’d always been meant to be together.”

The superstar couple are parents to sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo, 11, Cruz, 9, and two-year old daughter Harper.
David retired from professional football this year, after a very successful spanning more than 20 years.
Former Spice Girl Victoria now runs a high fashion label and will be opening her first boutique on London’s Dover Street later this year.
