She’s faced a series of blows recently, and more came last week when Victoria Beckham’s husband David headed to Miami in the run-up to relocating there with his Major League Soccer team Inter Miami CF – amid reports she was concerned she’d be lonely without him.
The news followed reports that fashion designer Stella McCartney had cut ties after Posh, 45, hired her fellow designer’s nanny – with the pair later unfollowing each other on social media.
The alleged spat came hot on the heels of details resurfacing of another shock “fall out” between Meghan and Posh, over allegations the mum of four had leaked stories about the Duchess.
It reportedly sparked a row between pals Prince Harry and David, with sources telling Closer that Posh was “shocked and hurt” about the furore.
But now, in a positive turnaround, insiders reveal that Meghan, 38, has reached out to Posh during the Beckhams’ family ski trip to Canada, where the former royal couple recently made their home.
An insider reveals, “Vic has been having a tricky time over the last few weeks, so it was really nice for her to hear from Meghan, who wanted to break the ice and heal their feud. Initially, she asked how she was and how the half-term break was going with her family. They then talked things out and it was a relief to clear the air.”

The Beckhams and the royal couple have had a long-standing friendship, with the prince forming a close bond with David, 44, during their work on the Olympic Games in 2012. Posh and David were guests at their Windsor Castle wedding in 2018, while Posh was later rumoured to be helping Meghan “spruce up” their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor.
The source says, “Meghan made it clear she knows how much Harry values his friendship with the Beckhams, and both women understand what it’s like to feel under scrutiny and pressure. It’s hard to find people you can trust and connect with when you’re as famous as the two of them, so they value each other a lot.”
Harry, 35, and Meghan have faced an onslaught of criticism after announcing they were “stepping back” from royal life in January and moving to Canada with their 10-month-old son Archie. They’re now said to be focused on their non-profit organisation, Sussex Royal, although they have been told they can’t use the term “royal” in their branding moving forwards.
The Beckhams have also faced their fair share of criticism. After Posh’s glory days in the Spice Girls, David received a huge backlash when he was sent off during the 1998 World Cup for kicking out at Argentina’s Diego Simeone. An effigy of David was hung outside a pub and he received death threats. Speaking about the impact it had on them in 2003, David said, “Living through that was really difficult... It’s hard for me to talk about in general because it was such a difficult time, not just for me as an individual but for my family.” He went on to praise his wife’s support.
And insiders say Posh has made it clear she’s there for Meghan whenever the going gets tough.
The source adds, “Vic really feels for her as she understands some of the stress she’s under. She’s told Meghan she’s there for her and wants to support her. She’s happy they’re back in touch and friends again.”
